Vegan Spirituality Groups
Vegan Spirituality Groups (VSG's) offer a place to gather and explore veganism as a spiritual practice. Members meet monthly to discuss various ethical/spiritual topics, share vegan food, and provide support. Each independently organized group offers unique events and retreats. Please contact us for help starting a VSG in your area!

Attend a Vegan Spirituality Retreat to renew your body-mind-spirit! Our retreats offer a day to focus on veganism as a spiritual practice with yoga, meditation, a vegan lunch, speaker presentation, group discussion, and animal blessing/community ritual. See photos of previous retreats here.
Celebrate equality, justice, and compassion for people, animals, and the environment at CompassionFest, a spiritual outreach event with cruelty-free vendors, music, speakers, and creative projects focused on expanding our circle of compassion to all living beings.
Local VSG’s may host larger public holiday events to share vegan holidays with VSG members, family, and friends. The Philadelphia VSG hosts an annual Vegan Thanksgiving, Winter Holiday Party, and July 4th vegan picnic.
We provide literature, offer lectures, table at spiritual expos, and host events to broaden our vegan community. Contact us with info about spiritual events, expos, and venues to offer our programs.
Are you an animal rights activist in need of self-care services? Are you a vegan healer or practitioner who can offer a skill such as Reiki, massage, energy healing, or psychotherapy? Either way, please contact us! We're compiling a directory of healing resources for activists to provide support and prevent burn-out.
